Salesforce Internship

Overview

During this internship I got to work on four different projects. Most of them were a combination of tactical and strategical work. The following are the projects I worked on:

Chart Markers: Survey

Objective: To determine the most suitable design approach for annotating charts

During this project, I worked to synthesis and draw conclusions 

Chart Markers

Objective: To determine the most suitable design approach for annotating charts

Method: Survey

Role: During this project, I worked to synthesise and draw conclusions from a survey that was already deployed so as to recommend a specific design approach for annotating charts within the analytics product.

Analyst Work Processes

Objective: To understand the work process of analysts both formally trained and informally trained and to create proto personas to get a better understanding of the users.

Method: Cognitive task analysis with 17 analysts 

Role: Carried out meetings with stakeholders to understand their requirements. Designed the screener for recruitment and the protocol for the cognitive task analysis. Conducted the cognitive task analysis with 17 analysts. Synthesised and drew conclusions from the data. Communicated findings to the entire analytics team. 

Einstein Discovery

Objective: To get feedback on Write Back Flow/ Model Management Flow and to get concept feedback on Einstein Discovery Insights within Explorer on desktop and mobile platforms.

Method: Concept Evaluation with 10 participants

Role: Carried out meetings with stakeholders to understand their requirements. Designed the screener for recruitment and the protocol for the concept evaluation. Conducted the concept evaluation with 10 participants. Synthesised and drew conclusions from the data. Communicated findings to the entire analytics team.

Competitive Review: AI, NLG

Objective: To conduct a competitive review of the AI and NLG capabilities of the different analytics products in the market

Method: Browsed through online communities and resources to collect the data

Role: Carried out meetings with stakeholders to understand their requirements. Collected the data from different online resources. Synthesised and drew conclusions from the data. Communicated findings to the entire analytics team.
